Hey Rage,
I’m Hot Donna and I love to skate and am here for the game! So, you shouldn’t be surprised that I am running for re-election for the Director of the Games Pillar.
I have been with Rage city for 7 years and have been playing Roller Derby for 10+ years. That is a lot of knowledge, experience, and friendships! I have competed in tournaments and games all over the country with a strong desire to hit every state and a few countries. Every time I skate I learn something new and love to bring it back to the league. Having a great team with me on the Games Pillar and my mission to have fun, I am confident that the Games pillar will be instrumental in getting the league rocking and rolling again!
I have coached on Rage and been invited to guest coach other leagues; accepting every time! I have several years experience with Board of Directors, one of which was served on Rage City. I can promise you I will always lead with an open mind, have positive intention, and focus on the good of the league. Let’s keep things safe, fun for all, and Derby focused with the right people coaching.

Thank you all for the considerate nominations— I'm looking forward to having another opportunity to serve Rage City on the BOD.
I have been a member of the league since 2016 and have been on the BOD since 2018 as director of Marketing and Public Relations (PR). I have a decade of professional experience in design, mass communications, and marketing. I care very much about maintaining and strengthening our brand, growing our community, and guiding the tone of Rage City’s future. With an understanding of league history, goals, and voice, it is my goal to communicate the kind of “Rage City" that we, as a league, want to portray.
With a background in graphic (print and web) design and art direction, I’m proud to have led the team responsible for redesigning our website, updating our branding and design (Rage City and Sockeye Sallys), contributing to marketing growth on social media, increasing our attendance and fan base, coordinating volunteers for community outreach events, and providing design/marketing assistance for major fundraising efforts like the Silent Auction, .5k, and Rage Against Racism community donation initiatives.
This upcoming season however, will be one of our most important, as we begin our transition back to a normal skating season. We will need someone who understands our mission and goals, who can effectively market ourselves to the community, and get fans involved again—with our members and volunteers safety as a priority.

Hey Rage!
My name is Talia and I wanna thank everyone for their kind nominations! I’m very excited to be running for the membership position on the BOD, as this will be my first time doing so.
I absolutely adore skating and it’s been a big part of my life in recent years. I joined the league back in 2019 when I was fresh into college and new life experiences. Funny enough, I first learned about our roller derby league through our very own UAA recruitment event, which I was honored to help run this year and meet so many of you! Everything I learned about skating was built from the wheels up with this league and I intend to carry the utmost dedication and responsibility with me into the BOD to help make this season great.
While this may be my first year running, I’m proud to say I’ve gained lot’s of experience with volunteering at derby events such as our .5K No Fun Run, annual Silent Auction, and NSO-ing in our games. My personal experience in reception and retail has also provided me with the skills to help guide new and returning members through any and all events!
